I have been practicing many types of meditation since 1975. For me meditation is a way to hear my inner feelings, to make my thoughts more clear, to feel more centered. As I progressed through the years with my practice I feel it has helped me on many levels. I have reaped many health benefits from years of meditation practice. It has helped to quiet my mind, slow down my breath and has helped me to build a strong immune system. Meditation has really helped me on my life’s path. Much of who I am has come from my practice. It has had a powerful impact on my life and I am so grateful that I embarked on this adventure so many years ago. I have been teaching meditation workshops since 2005 to many people both in groups as well as one on one.

I have always had an interest in nutrition and healthy living. In 2006 I started taking classes in Holistic Nutrition. In 2008, I received my certification as a Holistic Nutrition Consultant. I have been working with clients, to guide them towards a lifestyle that helps them face and conquer their own personal nutritional challenges.

I have been practicing yoga on and off for several decades mostly for personal enjoyment and pleasure. In 2009 I decided to push myself further and received my certification as a Yoga Instructor. My yoga practice, which is a wonderful balance between the Asanas (poses), the Pranyama (breath work) and the Dhyana (meditation) has helped me “off the mat” to be in a more spiritual place and has helped to deepen my own meditation practice. It has helped me to stay flexible and strong even as I age. I love teaching yoga and offer many classes in the metro-Detroit area including; Chair Yoga for Seniors as well as people with mobility issues, Gentle Senior Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Yoga for Kids, Yoga for Teens, Mommy and Baby Yoga as well as beginner to intermediate levels of Hatha Yoga. I really enjoy the diversity of all these classes and love knowing that each group is there because they really want to learn how to make a difference for themselves. I am very fortunate to have so many wonderful teachers as well to help me be true to myself through my own yoga practice.

My mission is to help people make their own body, mind and spirit connection through the fusion of good nutrition, meditation and yoga. I am helping people learn how to keep their mind less cluttered and more centered, their body more flexible, strengthened and toned, as well as help them be more in tune with what foods and supplements are needed specifically for them.

I want to share my knowledge and experience in these areas to help others reach the goals they are trying to attain so they are able to live a long, healthy and happy life.

Namaste,
